Back in the region, the business people who took part in Futurallia 2005, in Belgium, have a highly positive view of their experience. Eight Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean businesses attended the one-of-a-kind event, held June 1-5, 2005. The event gave SMEs an opportunity to develop world business contacts, mainly in Europe, by taking part in numerous business meetings.
Participants state that if short-term results are to be expected, the main impacts will be felt in the long run. Futurallia is first and foremost a business meeting place where synergy between participants can be achieved.
Since 1990, no less than nine FUTURALLIA editions have enabled SME decision-makers from everywhere around the world to meet. The forum is based on a plan for 12 business meetings based on participants’ respective catalogues. Embracing all industrial sectors, it is a must for SMEs looking for partnerships, as well as commercial, financial, strategic, and technological alliances.
