National Buyer Seller Forum National Buyer Seller Forum
March 24-28, 2008 - Edmonton, Canada
|
From March 24 to 28, 2008, a delegation of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean business people travelled to Edmonton for the National Buyer/Seller Forum. With projects worth $160 billion either planned, underway, or completed, the Canadian West has to be considered an interesting market for regional businesses.
The yearly event is the occasion to showcase Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean’s industrial sub-contracting expertise and know-how to large-project leaders in Alberta and the other provinces.
Alco-TMI, BFI Équipementier, Fonderie Saguenay, Groupe Secto, and Proco were the regional businesses attending the Edmonton event.
The following businesses were also represented via the regional booth: Taimi R&D, Reboitech, Groupe Ohlin, J. Desco, Inter-cité Construction, DO2, C.I.V., Canwall, Canmec, and Arbrofer.
The National Buyer/Seller Forum brings together more than 120 exhibitors, over 800 visitors, and 20 contract givers from across the country.
The project was made possible thanks to financial support from Economic Development Canada, Regional Conference of Elected Officials, Promotion Saguenay, City of Alma, City of St-Félicien, City of Roberval, and City of Dolbeau-Mistassini.
